September 26th 2008 3:09 PM - Jennifer F The vids have given me goosebumps :0
September 26th 2008 9:53 AM - Claire Oh my god, the video is crazy.......good work guys, i'm in shock seeing the inside of Jo's again
September 25th 2008 3:37 PM - Ian Holy video tape! I think my brain just fell out of the back of my head. Hurry for insane memory enhancement projects!
June 4th 2008 2:24 PM - AJ This is the weirdest thing I have ever seen!
May 24th 2008 2:31 AM - Corey fp on the new site!
Nice job striss, this site kicks ass.
April 27th 2008 4:00 AM - Ian Guys what a great night! We should have Jo's reunion parties everyday! I wish everyone had been there. I hope someone gets some pictures up on Facebook. Wonderful time.
February 21st 2008 3:22 AM - Theresa Wow you guys! I was just talking about Cafe Jo's the other day. Seeing some of the pictures and names it brings back alot of memories. I also remember alot of people who use to drive me crazy! Fizzy drinks! LOL Best place to be and I had a lot of fun working and seeing everyone!
February 20th 2008 6:56 PM - Dope Hey, good to see this site is still kickin' around. Kudos to those behind keepin' the Jo's memory alive! A like the bio bits and while through no fault of anyones own, I have to comment on why the heck aren't there more people with them? With all the hypes and use of sites like Facebook and such, the word should be spreading and get more "regulars" on board!
February 19th 2008 8:32 AM - Ian It's good to see everything up and running again, nice work guys. I've got a request for everyone to speed up repairs, could you check the external links on your own articles to see if they work and either fix them or let me know if they don't? Otherwise, I'll get around to fixing them eventually, but it will take a little longer that way. Thanks.
February 19th 2008 12:13 AM - Gray We're back! (Again)
Myself and Corey were toiling in the internets and have fixed up the site once again, hopefully it'll be online for a little longer this time.
Enjoy!
November 20th 2007 12:50 PM - Gray Hey everybody, sorry about all the downtime, but it looks like we're back up and running now. Big thanks to Corey for putting all the site back together from our backups!
There may still be a few quirks with the Wiki and some pictures, but we should have that fixed up soon.
And the Holiday season is approaching once again, if you'd like to meet up with your old timey Jo's friends just leave a message here letting us know where/when you'll be for the Holidays.
June 11th 2007 5:17 PM - Ian We are getting a lot of spam on the wiki from bots. I've been blocking a lot of fake user accounts in order to keep up with it. If you create a new account on the wiki, try to use an actual word for your user name. The bots tend to just pick a bunch of letters and numbers at random. Creating an account with an actual name or word will save it from being accidentally deleted. Thanks.
May 20th 2007 1:45 AM - Jordan AWESOME job on the site i cant belive I've never been here b-4
cheers
May 7th 2007 7:53 PM - Ashe P. Hey Evans. This is Ash. Call me at my house next time you get in.
I have much to talk about.
April 8th 2007 4:15 PM - Beth Moores I people. *waves* I miss you jerks. I hope all is well in Newfie Land and wherever else you may be.
April 6th 2007 7:35 PM - Ian Congratulations to Dave and Kim. You heard it here folks, Chow is now a father!
March 4th 2007 3:45 PM - Ash Lee Hey Gray. You are one of the most beautiful people I have ever met.
Do you still have those booth photos of us from way back when? You should
post them with the rest of the pictures. I was happy then. Did you ever
release Relaxo #3? How can I buy your albums? I would love to hear them.
I am still computer illiterate, as you can tell.
Hey to Ian, I finally dumped Josh afer 4 years of his bullshit, so maybe he won't be so contrary when you drop in to see him next time. He has hurt me for
a very long time, but I come out unscathed. I didn't want to say that but it is truth. Sorry.
the only other thing I have to say is:
EVERYONE WATCH NARUTO, BLEACH, AND FULL METAL ALCHEMIST ON FRIDAY ON YTV.
Gray, I wish we were still friends. I need people like you in my life.
March 1st 2007 11:29 PM - Ian For all of you IP editors:
Due to some spam bots you now have to log in to edit the wiki. It's not too much trouble you just click "log in" in the upper right corner, no info needed. This saves me a lot of time deleting spam pages and blocking IPs. Thanks are owed to the techie wonder minds of Justin Gray and Corey Q.
February 27th 2007 4:34 PM - Ian Haha, yeah Gray and I got at some year books over xmas to fill in some pictures for people that were missing images on the wiki. Still missing a few.
February 19th 2007 9:45 PM - Colette Ahhhhh...a pic posted in the wiki chummy...YIKES...lol
February 17th 2007 5:02 PM - Emma Hey all!
Love the site! Bought back alot of great memories!
February 3rd 2007 11:45 PM - Ian Damion, you are going to have to wait in #goodtimes for a few moments when you join, you take off too quick. IRC tends to run in the background, you have to wait for people to come back to that window. It's good to know you are alive and well, you've been missed.
February 3rd 2007 1:49 AM - Damion Damos Back hopefully Ill catch someone around one night Miss all the good times Back At Jos And The Jive Hopefully everyone is well talk to SOMEONE soon.
January 23rd 2007 4:54 PM - Ian I don't suppose you have Oranges? It'd be nice to have a link to that on the 270 page. Also, Hello. Heh.
January 23rd 2007 12:53 PM - Ash Lee I still have some of your old tapes, with relaxo#3...you could make
millions.
January 19th 2007 10:20 PM - Ashley Pomeroy We used to hang out at Cafe Joes when we were about 15 and 16. Do you remember?
You were my first love.
January 2nd 2007 11:27 AM - Ian Just so all of the trend-geeks know, Corey has set up a Cafe Jo's group on Facebook. Also, I've started a thread about the tables on the GFW group, on the off chance that can help us locate any.
December 31st 2006 10:40 PM - Corey Q Happy New Years from my New Years Party! Jo's regs include; Me, Simon, Ian and gobe! And a big thanks to Gray for this site!
December 27th 2006 6:20 PM - HeatherS Happy Christmas everyone! I wish I was at home to see you all. We had a family Christmas in Kanata. Lil, Nan, Beth and Jenni were here.
Much love and chocolate,
Heather
December 26th 2006 1:41 AM - Ian I wish we could track down a copy of oranges. It has to be on a blank tape somewhere. We should get together for a coffee tomorrow.
December 26th 2006 1:13 AM - Ange I just updated the 270 wiki page if anyone wants to help me piece the lyrics together I remember most of them and they'd be an amazing addition to the page.
December 26th 2006 12:50 AM - Ange Gray, I'll call you boxing day. Your brain is much to precious to fry.
December 24th 2006 9:49 AM - Gray Ange you have to call me, we have to hang out or my brain may fry.
December 24th 2006 4:53 AM - Ange I'll be in GF December 24th to December 27th and I may be back for the New Year.
December 21st 2006 2:38 PM - Ian Hey, I'm back in town now. You can likely find my and Soup at the Jive tonight. Any word on when/if Corey is getting in?
December 5th 2006 9:37 AM - Gray We'll definitely have to arrange a coffee meeting, either at Java Jive (right next to where Jo's was, and it has a nice fireplace now) or at Murphs (downtown, nice spot.)
December 5th 2006 9:15 AM - Ian Cool. I was talking to Dope, this should make going out for coffee a bit like getting in a time machine. Heh. I might be in earlier yet, currently unsure.
December 4th 2006 2:34 PM - Mercer (chris)
Hey Ian,
I will be in town from the 20th to the 26th, as far as I know Winslow is planning around the same dates. Hope to see some of you then.
November 26th 2006 11:46 AM - Stephanie December 21st - December 28th
November 24th 2006 10:25 PM - Pudd dec 23 - jan 1 or the 29th
November 19th 2006 3:05 PM - Ian I want to say thank you to Fiona who submitted images of 2 of the Jo's tables. They can currently be found on the wiki, if anyone has any stories related to either of them or knows anything about the artists feel free to post it on there. That brings our grand table total to 5 with the 3 already sent in by Heather. I didn't think we would find this many, so here's to hoping we find even more!
Dustin - no biggie and i'm looking forward to anything you can think to add.
Spruce - coffee sounds fine, there is a good chance that is what i will be spending most of my break doing.
Matt - it's good to hear from you, i was asking about you at chatters a few weeks back. you can put up a profile through the people section
November 11th 2006 6:23 PM - Uncle Travelling M@TT hello cafe' jo's peeps!!!

Cheers
Spruce
November 10th 2006 12:10 PM - dustin sorry for the legality issues in my last post, ill get on posting some stories when i get some good free time, and ill try to keep em a little more family friendly.
November 6th 2006 8:55 PM - Gray Follow up to my last post...I put in a request to have the week of Dec 25th to Dec 29th off. Including the weekend I'd end up being in GFW from Dec 22nd to Jan 2nd, which would rock if it works out. More people must come home for good times.
November 5th 2006 7:32 PM - Gray I'll be in for the Christmas weekend but I'll be gone again by boxing day, that'll be it for my christmas holidays.
November 5th 2006 12:06 AM - Ian Who is going to be in GFW over Christmas? And when? I am trying to figure out how long I want to head in for. I'm thinking around the 20th to the 28th or so, but I'll tweek that to work around you guys as best I can. Also, I want to be back in St. John's for Simon's party if I can.
October 30th 2006 11:17 PM - Jon Simon Hey folks. Just checking the updates. All looks cool. For anyone in the SJ area around Christmas, I'll be doin' it up old school at the house. It always promises to ge a good time. I know it's early, but since I missed a bash this weekend, I feel it necessary to be a little more proactive. I'll keep you posted.
October 24th 2006 7:14 PM - Ian Yeah that's a good call. Tho, it should be written with a certain fineness / obscurity, heh. But that shouldn't be too tricky. I'll create a link on the 'Excursions' page.
October 24th 2006 6:05 PM - Mole! may i suggest a write-up on the front...havent we all been hooked up/ripped off at that site?
October 24th 2006 10:48 AM - Mole! allright cool..i'll get the story behind and rules of rock foot down in the least complicated way i can think of.
October 21st 2006 1:31 PM - Ian Dustin - If you have any stories you want to add you can stick them up on the wiki by pressing edit. Try to keep them legal for the sake of having this place at least half family friendly, heh.
October 21st 2006 12:58 PM - dustin by far the coolest thing at provincial was sand hemp sac. or dissapearing and reapearing and scaring the shit out of everybody hahaha. sigh good times ** Post edited by Admin **
October 20th 2006 8:58 PM - Gray Mole, Rock-Foot / Rock Hack was by far the greatest thing ever invented at provincial, I would pay good money to have another round of that. Get the troops together next summer for a big ol provincial bash reunion.
October 20th 2006 4:52 PM - Ian Mole - I think it might be one in the same. I think that was a game played more by your crowd then mine. Is that the one that was like hacky sac mixed with volley ball?
Dustin - I think she was responding to something Chris Mercer said earlier.
October 20th 2006 3:54 PM - Mole! Hey Ian...under the wiki games hacky sack...is rock hack supposed to be rock-foot or is there indeed another game?
October 19th 2006 2:21 PM - Dustin is that message directed towards me?
October 19th 2006 1:04 AM - Fiona Bruce is in Slave Lake and Kara is in Ft. Mac (both AB). I can hook you up with B's email is you want. Burden is in St. John's last I saw him but that was prolly a year ago now. My email is fjtrend@hotmail.com. Send me yours and I'll forward it onto Brucie.
October 12th 2006 3:52 PM - Dustin just reading some of the posts, about stuff.... hahaha. i remember nights in lenords (i think it was his) bomb shelter dungeon of a basement with me rob and aaron good times I miss those days lol ** Post edited by Admin **

They are on old vhs tapes, but they are back in ontario right now, i will have them when i go grab all my stuff. Videos are generally with the group of people i used to hang out with. I also have other misc newfoundland videos.

September 11th 2006 4:51 PM - Ian Gray, nice work with the gallery, it's looking really nice. And thanks to Jill and Spruce for all the new pics. Mole was telling me the other day that the Mun folklore archives have writings on Africa and Provincial, so hopefully we get that up on the wiki in the near future. The main thing we need now are pics of the tables, so if anyone has a Jo's table or knows someone who does, please take a pic and send it in.
August 27th 2006 8:36 PM - HeatherMoores Happy Birthday Justin!
Love you and wish you were here.
August 27th 2006 7:36 PM - Gray Spruce supplied us with some great pictures today, myself and Ian are now adding them to the Wiki and they'll be added to the main photo gallery here shortly after. Big thanks go out to Spruce and everybody elsse who've been helping with all the great pictures that've been added so far.
August 25th 2006 8:50 PM - chow chow hello everyone hello tom cause he said high to me . well la la la ha ha ha here wit grey so have a nice day .... forgot what i wanted to say....
August 25th 2006 2:44 PM - Ian I made external links from your wiki articles to your (Tom and Rod) msn pages. A "what are they doing now" sort of thing. If anyone else has websites or anything they want linked you can create the link by pressing edit on the respected wiki page. If you want something added, but you don't want to play with editing the wiki, just post it here and someone else will put it up.
August 20th 2006 10:08 PM - tom walsh just wanted to let everyone know i got a new myspace started up. stop by and leave something. www.myspace.com/toygunanthem666
August 18th 2006 6:24 AM - The Artist formally known as Rodney Tom!! buddy good to hear you are well my friend....
i will deff... drop a line if possible!
as for me, myspace.com/infinityfivepointzero....
no myspace jokes you arrogant bastards....
my grey, i will be home hopefully september with a lovly rare Square-Enix gift package for you!
August 14th 2006 11:06 PM - Gray Sorry about the downtime Sunday evening and most of Monday, there was some tiny technical geek issues but they've been fixed up with the help of Corey and all is good once again. This kinda thing might happen once every few months, so if the site ever looks like it's dissapeared, just come back in a day or so and it'll be magically fixed by our gang of nerds.
August 12th 2006 8:23 PM - Ian Chris - I think Kara and Bruce are in Alberta somewhere, they have both seen the page, but they don't have profiles up yet. I think I might have an email around here someplace, I'll send it over to you.
Tom - It's great to know you're breathing, make sure to let us know if you ever wander back around this rock. I'll pass along your hello to anyone not checking here regularly. Also, the wiki is open for anyone to edit, so if you remember something the rest of us forgot feel free to add it, it's pretty easy to use.
Jill and Julian have both added to the wiki in the last few days and I've had a couple of good laughs as a result, thanks for that. That thing is growing quickly. Butler called it a collection of our folklore the other day, I thought it an appropriate title.
August 12th 2006 8:03 PM - tom walsh hey guys! it's good to see everyone is alive and kickin'. nice to know you're all on the right side of the turf. it's been so long long since i've been in contact with anyone, i'd like to know what everyone is up to these days. just wanna say hey to ian, gray(awesome job with the wiki),al, rod( you crazy bastard, drop me a line sometime) screech, chow, crawley, and anyone else i may have forgot. get ahold of me sometime, it'd be good to talk about old times. tomandlindsay@hotmail.com
August 4th 2006 8:18 AM - Colette Hey Chris...Tilly is living in NS at the moment going out with John Hunt..they built a house from what I've heard...Roberts is up in Alberta teaching..also from what I have heard..I seen Burden at the Salmon Fest..no idea where he is living now though..
August 3rd 2006 7:18 PM - Chris Mercer
Hey where are all the older Cafe Jo's crowd. I know where Graham, Winslow, McDonald, Walsh and Hayward are but where are Saunders, Burden, Trend, S Saunders, Sue-Ann Roberts, Cameron, Higdon, Hutchingson, Tilly and all that crowd?
I would not getting contact info for that crowd if anyone has it.
August 2nd 2006 12:22 PM - Ian Haha. It's great to know you're doing well Jen. I've been a chasing around all of you scallywags around that didn't have profiles up yet. I'm a pest like that. I like knowing how everyone is doing and where everyone is, it's nice to be able to be in touch with some of the old crew. Gray really did a great job with this place.
Also, if you notice any stories missing on wiki, you can just add to it yourself by pressing the edit button on the top of the articles, it's pretty easy to use.
July 30th 2006 12:35 PM - Jennifer Freake hey guys,
this site is great!! ian, I will be adding a profile soon; sorry for the delay. Cafe Jo's times were some of the best I ever had in GF-W. You forget some of the stories but just reading through everything brings it back. I think of everyone that went there with a smile.
July 18th 2006 4:52 PM - gobe Ian, Sunday coffee at Chatters (I assume you meant July 23rd) sounds good. 7pm works for me.
gobe
July 13th 2006 5:42 PM - Gray I'll be in town for the weekend too, and possibly for a few more days after. Goodtimes!
July 13th 2006 10:42 AM - Ian I am heading in to GFW to the Salmon Festival this weekend, I hope to see some of you guys there. Also, next Sunday (July 22) we should aim for meeting at Chatters for coffee again. 7pm sound good?
July 4th 2006 3:46 PM - Heather Moores Hey Matt,
So glad you found the site! I tried to email you - but I think I have a very old email account. Use the people link on the left and fill out a profile. Did you check out the Wiki? If not, you have to see it! There's an entry about you, and one about your table.
Love you, Email me!
Heather

June 17th 2006 5:31 PM - gobe coffee tomorrow, 7pm at Chatters Cafe (112 Duckworth, near Living Planet and KFC)
come one, come all!
June 16th 2006 7:53 AM - Ange I can't even begin to describe to you all the things the photographs and memerobelia stir in me. Its amazing to look back at youself and to remeber what it was like to be sitting there, to get that bruise, to wear those clothes and to know how differnt it feels to be where you are now.
We've come so far.
It's been said before that it seems silly to look back at those times when (lets face it) we were all depressed, awkward, angry or rejected and smile but, we had the certainty that we were the majority because there were so many sympathetic souls to help in your time of need... we never felt like weirdos. So few people have ever felt the genuine acceptance we all felt in what should be the most uncomfortable period in ones life and that is something special.
All of you: When you read this page, when you look at the pictures, read the notes ... what ever, know you changed someones life for the better. Everyone.
Ange
June 13th 2006 11:11 PM - Ian Yeah, the coffee thing was a good laugh. Good times catching up with you Simon. It looks like we will be trying it again on Sunday at 7pm, lets see if we can't get a few more people this time.
June 13th 2006 10:35 PM - Simon Ian, Gobe, Corey and I made our way to Chatters on Sunday past and this could be a new spot to spark some old Jo's memories and create some new ones. I never thought that so much happened back then until we started talking about it. Nuts!
June 11th 2006 4:49 PM - Ian Yeah the wiki is looking great, lots of edits, lots of laughs. I hope more people start tossing in some of their stories, as there are still a lot of articles that could use some expanding and a lot of people are not represented as well as they should be. And in response to gobe and Corey, I guess I'll see you guys for coffee in a couple of hours, I hope a few people join in on this weekly coffee thing, seems like it could be some nostalgic fun, mostly I just like coffee, heh.
June 11th 2006 12:19 PM - Gray Evil spammers always come out on the weekends. Been checking out the Wiki lately, it has so much stuff in it now that it's blowing my mind.
June 11th 2006 11:17 AM - Colette Is this spam on our post board??? ICK
June 7th 2006 2:54 PM - Corey 'aight, but you have to call me and not leave messages on irc, cause i often close my laptop and loose any messages left for me.
June 6th 2006 6:22 PM - gobe Hello to everyone. I must say, this website is in fine form.
Now, a special hello to any of you kicking around St. John's. We should try to start some sort of semi-regular coffee gathering. Although there will never be another Jo's, there are certainly a few nice places around worth checking out, including a neat little spot that just opened on Duckworth. Ian, Corey, Ange, Simon, Ashley, and whoever else is around, what do you guys think?
June 3rd 2006 11:43 PM - Ian Good day Mr Chow, dit to do, ha! Anyone in contact with Jerm? And Crawley, the pic you sent in is excellent, Paul's expression is priceless, he looks like he's up to nothing good. Heh.
May 31st 2006 11:05 PM - da chow hello people this site is pretty cool it reminds us of the goodtimes we had at joe's
May 29th 2006 6:36 PM - Gray Hey Ashley, just thought I'd let you know that I e-mail Chris C a few days ago about this website, hopefully he'll drop by soon.
May 25th 2006 4:06 PM - Ian Holy crap! Which table? And can you take a pic of it for the rest of us?
May 25th 2006 3:49 PM - Ashley I have one of the cafe jos tables!! and chairs!
May 24th 2006 8:32 PM - Simon Hello all. Congrats to all who have helped launch this awesome site. I'm glad I had some pictures hanging around that I could contribute.
After reading some of the passages whote in the Wiki, I've dredged up many memories and will be posting them as I feel like it...
Cheers all.
May 24th 2006 3:17 PM - Ashley Hollett HELLO!!! want to say hi to Julian, Justin G, Ian... and Everyone!!
there are alot of people who still need to get on this list!
where is Chris C ??
bye!
May 24th 2006 10:09 AM - Ian Heather - Ask about the date that the tables were painted. You were saying that it was the summer of 1996, but we should be able to narrow that down.
May 21st 2006 1:52 PM - Gray Hurry back Biello, I'm taking a week off right before/after salmon festival so it's gonna be party times.
PS: thanks for the keyboard while you're out plantin trees, ya hippy.
May 19th 2006 1:13 AM - Julian in the middle of nowhere ontario on the big big boss's wireless satelite internet... 1 night off a week, and its tonight, snuck in to use the internet... hahaha
thought id stop in to say hi everyone. nice to see Ms Hollet on this.
Back on the island EARLY july....
see you all then
May 17th 2006 11:34 PM - Ian Steph - Joanne's business card was a sweet find!
Heather - I love the articles you've written about the tables, I think it might be my favorite part of the wiki to date. Also, it was suggested by Corey that you ask Joanne for any back story she might have on her thoughts and feelings about the whole experience. He's a wise man that CoreyQ.
Ashley - It's good to know you're still kicking, I don't think we've spoke since highschool. Do you remember the time Perry and us were accussed by the cop of tossing rocks at cars when we were hanging out under the overpass?
May 15th 2006 5:28 PM - Heather Moores I'm making a list of questions to ask Joanne (via Heather). Here's what Ian and I have come up with so far:
1. Opening Date
2. Closing Date
3. List of Staff
4. Notable Events
Let me know if there's something else I should ask.
May 14th 2006 9:56 PM - Gray Ashley, I was hoping you'd find the website eventually! If you wanna add yourself to the list, just click on "People" over on the left, then click Create Profile. E-mail me too, havn't heard from you in years!
May 14th 2006 8:55 PM - Ashley Hollett Justin! add my to the list!
May 13th 2006 8:34 PM - Perry It was definately Carla's. Don't remember what the car was, but the color was beige....like a hamster. go figure. :-)
Shit I can't believe the pics you've rounded up for this site! It's amazing and a little scary to see ourselves back then. I LOVE this site.
i just remembered i that i still have my coffee card!
Gray! thanks I will definately let u know next time i'm home. Was home last Sept but didn't make it to GFW.
May 11th 2006 12:56 PM - Ian Does anyone remember which car was called 'The Hampster'? I've linked in on the wiki. I'm thinking it was either Carlas or Heather Grams.
May 10th 2006 7:42 PM - Ian Claire - Hey, it's good to know you're doing well, I get a kick out of the fact that I have to move the frapper map over to see where you are. Colette - I don't think Jordan's Jokers were related to Al's soul contracts, but I may be wrong. Sweet pic by the way, I had forgotten about Jordan's Jokers. Thanks to Heather, Colette, Butler, Spruce, Simon, Corey and Ange for editing on the wiki, the whole thing gives me a good laugh. There are also a few people after editing that I have not been able to identify, so thanks to you guys as well.
May 9th 2006 12:18 PM - Claire I'm loving this site, being so far away from home and old friends. I have a lot of old pics that I would love to send, but they are on a CD some where in NL. Still waiting to hear from more Regs like Amanda, Jen, and the likes.
May 9th 2006 11:52 AM - Gray If you could scan that Joker card it would rock. Good material for the wiki, which is getting really good lately. As for your soul, according to the wiki Al's box of souls got thrown out, you're out of luck there.
May 8th 2006 10:26 AM - Colette Yea so I was just reading up on the Wiki thing...I remember signing a document giving Al & Jordan my soul...by any chance does one of them still have a copy?? Oh..and was it just me or did Jordan hand out 'Joker' cards to people as a 'Thank-you' for signing over their soul? Or was that just something he was being silly with that particular day? I still have mine..will scan it so it can be posted!
May 8th 2006 1:08 AM - Ian This place gets me nostalgic, the pics and the gibberish on the wiki. I went digging around my old stuff to see if I had anything to add and found a couple of things from the back in the day that made me laugh. I thought they might be worth a laugh to someone else so I passed them along; notes in my agenda, a sugar snake, a jo's mug and ashtray and an old KFC moist towelette (Unite!). Gray is posting the images. Also, if you're one of the twenty or so ips checking out the wiki dayly feel free to edit, if you're not sure what you're doing someone will catch your mistakes, it's tomfoolery. And thanks to everyone who is interacting with the site, you're sharing some good flashbacks (come on super flashbacks).
May 5th 2006 5:52 PM - Heather Graham Ange!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I miss you and tables full of empty glasses, and cabs form jimmi's to your house... e-mail me heatherlisag@hotmail.com
Love,
Heather
May 5th 2006 8:32 AM - Gray I'd say the best time would be during Salmon Festival, a lot of people will probably be around then. That's the weekend of July 14th. Biello is gone planting trees for a few months, I'm hoping he'll be back by then. I know I'll be home for that weekend, but really I don't have a clue who else will be.
May 5th 2006 4:26 AM - Dustin Hey Gray, when is the best time to make it down there this summer in order to see the maximum amount of people? Maybe the salmon festival? When is that anyways? Me and luds wanted to make it down around augustish, but maybe thats too late. But were definately going to have to get as many people together as possible and have a party or something when we come down. Maybe ill bring down some more treats again! haha
May 1st 2006 11:36 PM - Ian Holy goodness, these are some sweet time warping pics. Nice work Simon. And Heather, I'm with you on the wiki train.
April 30th 2006 11:00 PM - Gray Thanks to Jon Simon, we've got 15 new pictures added in the Photo section! Oh the memories...good stuff Jon, excellent pictures.
April 27th 2006 11:24 AM - Heather Moores I just added some more stuff to the Wiki. Let's fill it up with stories and silliness people!
April 22nd 2006 2:08 AM - Crawley Hey gray, I'll be home between June 2nd thru 14th... Fun.
April 21st 2006 1:08 PM - Gray If anybody is going to be back in Grand Falls for a bit this summer, make sure you let us know so a few of us can get together and hang out, have a little shindig or something.
Jon Simon, I know you're out there somewhere, still waiting to hear from you. So you better drop us a line when you find this page!
April 19th 2006 7:47 AM - Ian Rod - You add yourself to the profile list in the people section. As for the list in the wiki, it can be edited by all users, so if you see anyone missing, feel free to add them. And for anyone who has not yet been found, we have to wait until someone finds them. If you were here I would be forced to jump on your back in fun childish fashion.
Brianna - It's good to hear from you. It makes me happy to know that you are doing well and that my teenaged poetry has served its purpose in pleasant memory making. I look forward to seeing you in this rainy city.
April 18th 2006 9:35 PM - Rodney alive and feeling good enough to have sex with many grandma's ian my lord and savior...... as to my previous comment. the Jo's "youngin'" are not included in your list. a big groupe... which of course included your truly, philpot, J, hiscock, LeFrense, Gaye, Mcarthy, Chows X's 2, and than of course, the uber youngin's which was hepditch and her crew, goudie and his crew...... i do beleve i have some pictures somewhere. if i am able to locate them i shall pass them on to you you sexy wildebeast.....
April 16th 2006 2:37 PM - Ian Rod, it's good to hear from you. You should sign your posts, I was only able to figure out it was you from the frapper map. Also, I have no idea what you're talking about, heh. But, either way, it's good to know you're alive.
April 15th 2006 5:47 AM - Kind of a Big Deal pell.... your only got like 70% of the jo's crew.....

April 13th 2006 6:58 PM - Ian I noticed Andrew Saunders is on the frapper map, that's good to see. Andrew, if you're also checking the chat section, I'd like to send a hello over. It's good to know you're alive. Fake any good seizures lately?
Also, for anyone looking for info on the tables, I've tossed what I 'know' into a list on the wiki, if anyone wants to add to it or fix my mistakes, please do.
April 13th 2006 4:21 AM - Dustin Hey Justin, were definately are going to hit up some hac sessions, i hit it up with chris, greg and julian when i was down there in july for a week, it was surreal and i was freaking out the whole time. needless to say the sessions werent as intense as wehn i was there and we were all hitting it up with that sand hac that one guy nobody knew had haha. April 10th 2006 5:39 PM - Jen Lewis I can't believe that someone would put this site together. There was, and will never be another spot as great as Cafe Jo's. It's great seeing everyone on this again and to find out where everyone is at. Hey Dope!!! I miss you buddy. April 9th 2006 12:40 AM - Corey I know that AJ did one, i believe it was the "Temptation" table. I'll let him and Laura know about the site too.
April 8th 2006 9:08 AM - Ian Nice work CoreyQ. And Julian, I am working on putting together a list of the tables that we remember and who painted them, i'll get it up after I finish the paper I am working on. (end of the semester crunch) I'll see if I can get it on the wiki so other people can add to it or fix things, because it's bound to be incomplete. And to the Heather formally known as Moores, I'm looking forward to seeing these pics! Woo! This project rocks, thanks Gray.
April 7th 2006 9:12 PM - Corey Change your bookmarks, cafejos.org is now live baby!
April 6th 2006 10:42 PM - Julian Who did all the tables?
I know Matt Cave did one, Jon Drover, Sue-Anne Roberts did one, Hether Moores did one... who did the rest?
My memory is gone... too much blown smoke in my eyes
April 6th 2006 9:21 PM - Gray Perry! Good to hear from you old buddy, next time you head back to Newfoundland, make sure to drop me an email so we can try to go for a coffee.
Heather is working on scanning some pictures, I think she has some pics of the tables, woo!
April 6th 2006 7:22 PM - Ian I wonder just how many of the tables we could track down and get pics of, a set of images of the table tops would certainly be neat.
April 6th 2006 5:20 PM - Julian Ian, Stacey Martin has the one Matt Cave did in her house... I might be able to get a picture of it next time I see Travis (her boyfriend)
April 6th 2006 5:05 PM - Justin (Perry) Hi Gray, what a great idea.. i just wish we had digital cameras back then.... would have captured some amazing times. Keep it up Gray. J
April 6th 2006 4:41 PM - Ian Bruce - does your sister have a digital camera? I'd love to see an image of one of the table tops.
April 5th 2006 7:33 PM - Corey Quilliam I'm glad someone finally ran with the idea of this website, I wanted to get it on the go last year, but got way too lazy with it. I'm glad Gray took some initiative with it. I'll hopefully dig up the pics i had so we can post them.
April 5th 2006 6:41 PM - Beth Moores Thanks Ian. It's much appreciated.
April 5th 2006 6:33 PM - Keith Murray Awesome idea. Love the site.
April 5th 2006 5:03 PM - Christopher Mercer
Lot's of good times were had at Cafe Jo's. It has been a long time since I even thought about them and while nothing in particular stick out I do remember a good vibe when it comes to that place.
Looking forward to some pics, and to reply to Heather.
In St John's. Studying and working at Memorial University, keeping it real and writing a lot.
April 5th 2006 4:43 PM - Heather Graham Hey Everyone,
Holy, flashbacks.....I can't wait to see the pics and I will eventually have a few to contirbute when I get back to the house in St. John's. So where is everyone these days and what are you all up to?
April 5th 2006 1:52 PM - Heather Moores Matt Cave did the angel table. I painted the naked me, and the tea cup. I have pics of mine and matts at home. Ajay did an abstract one.
I think Sonia Caravan did either the sunflowers or the killer whale.
April 5th 2006 1:02 PM - Bruce Great idea Gray, all my pics are back in Newfie so I am no help there. as for the tables my sister has the jiant flower pattern one in her kitchen in St Johns
April 5th 2006 12:49 PM - Dope I just got this site forwarded to me and I cannot believe that someone had
the time to put in the effort to set this up! Good job I say! God I miss Jo's I loved that place... I remember Flo Cross even taking us there for an english class one June day back in '96.
I have a great pic of Fooge working there with the whiteboard saying "Today's Special Is Dope"...
April 5th 2006 12:20 PM - Ian Beth - Al is in GFW and stops on #goodtimes from time to time and i'm sure he'll see this within a week or two. Screetch lives out here (St Johns) and i'll pass a msg on to him through Chow the next time he stops over to visit, again i'd guess within a week or two. Soup - I remember The Raven by John Drover, The Paris scene by Steph Earle and Sue-Ann Roberts, There was the Angels, which might have been by Heather Moores, there was one that was the over view of a table, it might have been by AJ, there was the Dolphin, the Sunflowers, the Sun once of which was by Matt Cave. That's all I can remember off the top of my head.
April 5th 2006 12:05 PM - Beth Moores Hey Guys! Heather painted two of the tables. If anyone has email addresses or phone #s for Al or Screech, could you let me know. I miss those guys... Thanx.
April 5th 2006 12:00 PM - Stephanie I have an old pic of Kev playing guitar around here somewhere.
April 5th 2006 11:31 AM - Heather Moores I'm in touch with Heather Boone again - I can ask her if she knows where the tables ended up.
I used to have the cafe jo's 30 minute time limit sign, but someone stole it ;(
April 5th 2006 11:29 AM - Ian Evans I think Joe Alteen's family has one and I seem to remember Kara mentioning the location of another. Are any of you in contact with either of them?
April 5th 2006 11:25 AM - Gray My brother-in-law's parents have one of the tables...I think it was the Angel, not sure..I did drink a beer on it tho.
April 5th 2006 11:18 AM - Soup just a question ... what were all the tables and where did they end up?
April 5th 2006 11:14 AM - Ian Evans I have an old exercise book with a few jos stories kicking around. I also have a cup, ashtray, the sign from out front and one of the flyers if you want images or anything.
April 5th 2006 11:07 AM - Heather Moores (Sibley) Gah! I mistyped your name! I am such an oaf!
April 5th 2006 11:06 AM - Heather Sibley (Moores) Great Idea Grey - we've been talking about doing this for so long. I've got a ton of photos home. I'll start scanning them in for you.

April 5th 2006 10:36 AM - Gray Welcome to the Cafe Jo's message board. I'm hoping loyal Cafe Jo's visitors from the days of old will stop by and leave a message, let everybody know how life is going and maybe have some good old fashioned Jo's discussions. I'm working on setting up a Photo Gallery with the ability to upload your own pictures and a few other neat things. Hope to hear from all the old gang. Jo's toast forever!
